+# Home Audio Setup / Snapcast
+

+We use [Snapcast](https://github.com/badaix/snapcast) to transmit music through our house.
+
+Snapcast is an Open Source multi-room audio software package. It consists of a server that controls what is playing and clients connected to speakers through out the house.
+
+We have a "Snapclient" in the following rooms
+
+- Front porch
+- Living room
+- Dining room
+- Office
+- Bedroom
+- Heidi's room
