# Home Audio Setup / Snapcast
|
|
|
|

|
We use [Snapcast](https://github.com/badaix/snapcast) to transmit music through our house.
|
|
|
|
Snapcast is an Open Source multi-room audio software package. It consists of a server that controls what is playing and clients connected to speakers through out the house.
|
|
|
|
We have a "Snapclient" in the following rooms
|
|
|
|
- Front porch
|
|
- Living room
|
|
- Dining room
|
|
- Office
|
|
- Bedroom
|
|
- Heidi's room |
